Each flight trip we offer serves a purpose, read more about each one below.
Graduation trips are for people who are graduating their birds for the first time - that first outdoor experience with their bird. Some flyers may require more than one graduation trip to fully graduate their bird to a level they feel confident flying independently.
These trips are for only new graduates and meant to be kept as small as possible so that we can give all our attention to our new grads with the help of our team members and some returning/independent flyers by invitation only.
Clinic trips are education-based trips that are 5 days long. 2 days of training, one day off, 2 more days of training. These trips will be kept small and are charged per bird. The purpose of clinics is to get a morning training session outdoors, a break for lunch and bird care, followed by an evening of de-briefing and planning together.
There will be a high likelihood of an element of scouting involved in these trips so you can learn what to look for when seeking new spots to fly your bird on your own. Dave and Jamie will be hosting these so you will be working directly with them in the field.
Independent flyer trips are for graduates of our program who do not require additional coaching and just want to come to a flight trip to enjoy flying birds together. These are heavily socialization-based trips where we get together around the campfire, share meals together and have a fun meet up with the people we enjoy and the birds our birds enjoy flying with!
We will head to various locations on these trips and won't be offering any coaching so these trips are specifically for people who can fly independently.
